Justin Bieber's naughty behavior at the Z100 Jingle Ball in NYC cost organizers at least $1 million, RadarOnline.com has learned.

According to an insider, "Justin Bieber was so late to the stage that he ended up costing the promoter millions of dollars in fines."

Bieber, 22, arrived at 10:30 p.m. via the secret ramp into Madison Square Garden, said the source.

"His car pulled up and he got out with his entourage and headed straight to his dressing room," the insider continued. "Everyone was relieved to see him inside the building an hour before he was scheduled to take the stage at 11:30pm."

But when it came time for his curtain call, he was nowhere in sight!

"Eventually the organizers had to knock on his dressing room door and beg him to take the stage," the insider claimed. "He was paid to perform for 30 minutes, but the Garden has a midnight curfew. Any show that goes on past midnight cost the promoter millions in fine."

By 11:45, Bieber finally showed, but refused to cut down his 30-minute set, the insider claimed.

Still, the reviews were glowing: The New York Times called his performance "admirably professional and genial," and said he appeared "around 11:30."
