Donald Trump TIED With Hillary In New Poll

Hillary Clinton's email scandal is affecting her campaign much more than she anticipated. According to a new national poll, she is virtually tied with rival Donald Trump!
The latest CBS News/New York Times poll revealed that Trump and Clinton are all even at 40%.
"Heading into the two parties' conventions, the race for President is a dead heat," CBS News reported. "A month ago, Clinton led Trump 43 to 37 percent."
The results likely had a lot to with Clinton's email scandal, as the poll was taken the same day as the FBI revealed the findings of their probe. The FBI announced that although Clinton acted "extremely careless" in managing classified information through her private server, they would not be recommending charges against the presumptive democratic nominee.
Most voters have already made up their mind on who will get their vote. CBS News reported that "90 percent of Trump voters and 88 percent of Clinton voters say their choice is set."
But the poll suggests there are an increasing number of voters who feel the former secretary of state cannot be trusted, echoing the sentiments of Trump and House Speaker Paul Ryan. "Sixty-seven percent of voters now say Clinton is not honest and trustworthy, up from 62 percent last month and the highest percentage this election cycle. Only 28 percent view her as honest," CBS News reported.
So how does this compare to the previous presidential election? Around this time in 2012, a similar poll was taken and showed President Barack Obama at 46 percent and then opponent Mitt Romney losing by only one percentage point.
Regardless of the winner, CBS News reported that 61 percent of voters polled are not looking forward to the rest of the presidential campaign.
