Nearly six weeks after Zsa Zsa Gabor’s daughter Francesa Hilton died, she’s still not resting in peace. The corpse of the formerly homeless Hilton has been laying in a cardboard box since her death, and sources tell RadarOnline.com that she still has another “few weeks” before her final interment.

As RadarOnline.com reported Monday, Francesca Hilton’s ashes still have not been buried a month after her billionaire brother Barron Hilton claimed her remains from the Los Angeles County morgue.

But negotiations for a burial plot at Westwood Cemetery in Los Angeles — where her aunt Eva Gabor is buried and where a plot awaits her 98-year-old mother — are still going on, according to her longtime friend and publicist Edward Lozzi. “She will have a plot and beautiful headstone,” he insisted.

A private service and interment will take place “after the Oscars” because of family scheduling and is “probably a few weeks off,” he told RadarOnline.com.

Until then, the only daughter of hotel magnate Conrad Hilton and Zsa Zsa Gabor will reside in a cardboard box at Pierce Brothers mortuary, a source familiar with the situation told RadarOnline.com.

“That’s insane! How sick can they be?” her stepfather, Prince Frédéric von Anhalt, previously said when RadarOnline.com informed him that Hilton’s remains still have not been interred. “We are talking about pocket change.”

Francesca's body remained in the county morgue nearly two weeks after her death, but when von Anhalt tried to claim the remains for burial he was blocked by Barron Hilton, 87, who eventually signed for it from the coroner’s office.

The Hilton family had promised to arrange for the burial and to hold a private service at the cemetery in the days after a well-attended memorial service last month, her publicist said.

The spokesman for Steve Hilton, the nephew who was overseeing arrangements, has not responded to RadarOnline.com’s request for comment on why it has not yet taken place.

Although Francesca was the daughter of wealth, she was homeless when she collapsed and died in a West Hollywood restaurant last month. As RadarOnline.com exclusively reported weeks before her death, Hilton was living in her 1997 Toyota Forerunner, except when she could scrap up enough cash to pay rent in a Hollywood flophouse.
