With Teresa Giudice locked up and producers eager to begin filming the Real Housewives of New Jersey again, RadarOnline.com has exclusively learned that Melissa Gorga is worried about her future on the show.

"Melissa's story line has always depended on Teresa, and now that she's in prison she's not sure what will happen to her," a source close to the production told RadarOnline.com. "The fights between their two families have been major plot lines on the show, but without Teresa what is Melissa going to do?"

As RadarOnline.com previously reported, a casting call has gone out for new families to join the Jersey show.

"After the seedy drama surrounding Teresa, production really wants to class up the franchise," an insider told RadarOnline.com.

And so, according to the source, Gorga believes the writing is on the wall.

"Melissa is definitely concerned that she is on the chopping block," the source said. "She doesn't want to be irrelevant and is not sure what will happen to her."

"She loves being a part of the show and is devastated for Teresa, Joe and the girls. But she feels like producers might only want her if Teresa is there."
