Zooey Deschanel Is Expecting Her First Child

Zooey Deschanel will soon have a New Girl in her life…or new boy!

The sitcom actress, 34, is expecting her first child with producer boyfriend Jacob Pechenik, 42, this summer, her rep confirms to People.

“Jacob and I are over the moon. We are so excited to meet our little one,” Deschanel told the magazine.

The couple reportedly met on the set of this year’s comedy Rock the Kasbah, which filmed last June and July.
