Still On The Market: Duggar Parents Say John-David Duggar Remains Single

While the Duggars have been a fruitful, busy bunch as of late, second-oldest son John-David Duggar likely won’t be pitching in with the family’s growth anytime soon, according to his parents Jim Bob and Michelle.
The TLC superstars this week responded to reports linking handsome John-David to a brunette beauty, telling their fans that the 24-year-old “is not courting and not in a relationship … and he has never been in one!
“Just thought we’d set that straight,” the parents-of-19 said on their blog, adding that the patient romeo is “still waiting for the right one at the right time.”

They joked of their single son: “John is still single, ladies, and he has an airplane!”
They later added on their blog that “Jim Bob … has tried multiple times to find someone for John … and is accepting applications from eligible women.”

Amazingly, the one-liner regarding the application, which Jim Bob said as a joke on the television program, actually resulted in a flurry of hopeful women sending in their contact information to TLC in hopes of dating the devout Duggar son, who has a twin sister named Jana.
“I hear that we started receiving applications like crazy,” John-David told People. “I don’t know how many have come in and I haven’t looked at any, but I hear there are a lot.”
John-David told the magazine that he’s received a ton of advice about getting married, and doesn’t consider it “a bad thing.
“I’m open to advice."
