Katy Perry and DJ Diplo are making sweet music together — in and out of the studio!

“When Katy and Diplo first hooked up, it was sort of pre-meditated,” a close friend of Perry’s tells RadarOnline.com exclusively.

“But they are very much in lust with each other right now and even working on some new music, as he wants to help her rebrand her sound,” the source adds.

Don’t expect babies anytime soon, however, as Perry is focused on her career — and is still getting over her breakup with her ex-boyfriend John Mayer.

“Katy does want kids one day but definitely not right now,” the insider adds. “She thought that she was going to have kids with John, but that ended when she caught him cheating.”

As first reported by Radar, the high-earning EDM star, 35, and the “Roar” singer, 29, first hooked up in April at Coachella and they have been going strong ever since.

“They are just having a lot of fun right now, which is something that lacked in her previous relationship,” the source says.
