Britney Spears blasted her cheating ex on stage this week during her Las Vegas concert, but the pop star may not be truly done with David Lucado.

According to In Touch, the mother of two, 32, is still in contact with her 28-year-old former flame, who as RadarOnline.com reported, was caught cheating in a scandalous video.

“They’re still talking,” an insider tells the magazine. “She’s really upset. David thinks they can have a second chance.”

But the entertainer’s father Jamie, who serves as conservator of his daughter’s multi-million dollar estate and even reportedly bought the cheating video to protect her from humiliation, is not on board with a reconciliation, In Touch claims.

“Britney hates that she’s single again,” says a second insider. “She was expecting an engagement ring from David; that’s how serious they were. If there is one thing Britney hates, it’s being alone.”

And as RadarOnline.com exclusively reported last week, that loneliness led Spears to text another ex, photographer Adnan Ghalib, 42, under her protective father’s nose.

“Jamie monitors Britney’s cell phone, but she found a way to secretly text Adnan,” a source explained to RadarOnline.com.

Should Britney leave David for good? Sound off in the comments.
