From big raise to big wedding?

The Big Bang Theory star Jim Parsons has proposed to his longtime boyfriend after getting a huge salary hike. The comedy star is set to bring home $1 million per episode.

According to the new issue of The National ENQUIRER, Parsons, 41, finally popped the question to art director Todd Spiewak, 37, his partner of 12 years, now that his financial future is secure.

Parsons, who plays brainiac Sheldon on the megahit CBS sitcom, recently teamed up with co-stars Johnny Galecki and Kaley Cuoco to walk off the set in order to get more money. The three quickly won the battle, going from $325,000 to an incredible $1 million per episode.

Emmy winner Parsons, who came out as gay in 2012, then got a life-changing nudge from partner Spiewak, who had long wanted to get married, The ENQUIRER source revealed. “He told Jim he felt like they were just treading water in their relationship,” the source said.

Parsons had wanted to make sure he was financially secure first, but after Spiewak pointed out he’d be making more than $20 million a year now, the star popped the question.
