All hope is not lost for Pamela Anderson and Rick Salomon! Although the Baywatch beauty filed for divorce from her husband of six months last week, RadarOnline.com has exclusively learned that the move was a last-ditch effort by Anderson to scare hard-partying Salomon straight, and that insiders say a reconciliation is likely.

Tensions have been growing for weeks, according to an insider, and now "Pam felt the only thing she could do at this point in her relationship and marriage to Rick was to file for divorce because of his wild partying,” an insider said. "They love each other, but it's always a roller coaster with Pam and Rick.”

"Rick's poker playing late nights out are hardly a secret and Pam is just at a different place in her life right now,” the insider explained. "She is on a quest to live a very healthy lifestyle and doesn't want to be around Rick's lifestyle.

But Salomon seems to have received the message loud and clear, and is willing to change according to the source.

"Since she filed for divorce, Rick has been begging Pam to halt the divorce proceedings,” the source said. "No one should be shocked if they reconcile."

This isn’t the rollercoaster couple’s first divorce drama. The Baywatch star married Salomon in 2007, but annulled the union after only two months. She then announced in January 2014 that she had wed him again.
