Is There A ‘Glee’ Curse? Musical Show Star Becca Tobin’s Boyfriend Found Dead In Philadelphia Hotel Room

Glee star Becca Tobin’s boyfriend, Matt Bendik, was found dead Thursday at a hotel in Philadelphia.
A nightlight entrepreneur, Bendik, 35, was on a business trip in the City of Brotherly Love with his girlfriend, 28. The night before they had gone out for a celebratory evening with friends, according to reports.
The Philadelphia Medical Examiner confirmed that a maid discovered Bendik’s body in his hotel room, according to People.
Bendik ran several nightclubs throughout the U.S., but predominantly in the Los Angeles area. He was a managing partner of AV and Voyeur/DBA nightclubs.
Sadly, Bendik isn’t the first Glee-connected tragedy. His passing comes just a few days before the anniversary of Cory Monteith's death. The former Glee star had been found in a Vancouver hotel room on July 13, 2013. He had been dating co-star Lea Michele at the time.
