Real Housewives of Atlanta star Apollo Nida was sentenced today in Georgia after pleading guilty to bank fraud and identity theft charges. Now, only RadarOnline.com has the in-depth details on just what the judge handed down to the disgraced reality TV star.

According to court documents obtained by Radar, Nida was sentenced to 96 months in prison — far less than the maximum sentence for his crimes, 30 years. He will be held in an Atlanta-area facility — making it easy for wife Phaedra Parks to visit— and does not have to surrender himself until the exact facility is chosen.

In addition to his time in custody, Nida will also complete a 500-hour drug program, the documents decree. Though insiders insist Nida has no substance abuse problems, it is a common tactic used to reduce defendants’ sentences.

The court denied Nida’s claim that he had a “poor upbringing” and deserved to do less time, the documents state, despite the fact that both his mother and brother spoke about his difficult past.
