Apollo Nida was sentenced yesterday to eight years in prison — could he be heading to divorce court next? The Real Housewives of Atlanta star’s wife, Phaedra Parks, has been MIA during perhaps the most difficult time in his life, and only RadarOnline.com has all the details of their marriage crisis.

The couple’s issues played out on-screen during the last season of RHOA, when Nida was caught up in a sexting scandal and bashed for checking out a bikini-clad Kenya Moore. But after he was charged with bank fraud and identity theft in January, things only seemed to get worse. The couple went weeks without appearing in public together, and Nida even spent Valentine’s Day with other women during a wild boys’ night out, as RadarOnline.com has reported.

They reunited for the cameras at Kandi Burruss’ April 4 wedding, but since then they have not been seen in public together for a total of 96 days!

Most telling of all, Parks was a no-show at her husband’s sentencing yesterday, though his mother and brother made tearful declarations to the court.

In the days before the sentencing — some of his last as a free man — Parks left Nida home alone and jetted off to Mexico for Fantasia Barrino’s birthday celebrations. Though it was primarily a girls’ trip, Burruss brought along her husband and Nida’s BFF, Todd Tucker.

Nida recently admitted to RadarOnline.com that the couple was “working” on their relationship.

He’s set to surrender himself to custody in the next few weeks, as soon as the system can find an Atlanta-area spot for him.

Do you think Parks will stand by Nida during his incarceration? Let us know in the comments!
