Following a stint on reality TV that led her down a path of drugs, rehab and jail, former Teen Mom star Amber Portwood reveals she's planning to pen a tell-all book she hopes will encourage others to learn from their mistakes.

After spending 17 months in an Indiana prison, Portwood was released early of her five-year sentence last Nov. and has been working hard ever since to keep her path on the straight and narrow while being the mother to her 5-year-old daughter Leah that she wasn't in the past.

"It's a brutally honest account of how bad my life got," Portwood, 24, told In Touch magazine.

"Addiction. Mental illness. Death. Divorce. Betrayal. Violence. Suicide attempts. Felony charges. Rehab. Drug overdoses. Jail. I'm going to tell you how it all happened."

Titled Never Too Late, Portwood promises the book will have many bombshell revelations.

"I'm living proof that it's never too late to change your life for the better," she said.

Shortly after getting out of jail Portwood re-joined Twitter — noting she was two years sober — and swiftly warned troubled Teen Mom 2 star Jenelle Evans not to start any drama with her.

The reality star’s book will hit bookstands on August 26, and is available for pre-order now on Amazon.
