“I’m The Only One” singer Melissa Etheridge and her partner of four years, “Nurse Jackie” creator Linda Wallem, said “I do” at the San Ysidro Ranch in Montecito, Calif., on May 31- just two days after their joint 53rd birthday.
“They were so happy,” a guest told People, adding that the musician serenaded her new wife with an original song. “It was really beautiful.”
In addition to stars Jane Lynch, Chelsea Handler, Rosie O’Donnell and Peter Facinelli , Etheridge’s four children- Bailey Jean Cypher, 17; Beckett Cypher, 15; and twins Miller Steven Etheridge and Johnnie Rose Etheridge, 7- attended the outdoor nuptials.
It’s a happy ending for Etheridge, who went to court last year with outspoken actress ex Tammy Lynn Michaels, 39, over a dispute about healthcare decisions for their two children. The couple bitterly split in 2010 amidst cheating rumors.
