The Hamptons are the one of the East Coast’s foremost enclaves of the stars, boasting A-list residents such as Howard Stern, Matt Lauer and Alec Baldwin, but there’s at least two famous faces the area’s well-heeled locals aren’t welcoming with open arms: Kourtney and Khloé Kardashian.
The celebrity sisters this summer are set to commence filming on their new spinoff Kourtney & Khloé Take the Hamptons, and the NY Post reports that Hamptonites "are up in arms about it.
“They have been looking at property on Little Plains Road in Southampton, and already the neighbors … don’t want the hassle of the entourage, the cameras, the paparazzi and all the fanfare that comes with this attention-seeking family.”
The oldest and youngest of the Kardashian sisters are also planning to set up one of their Dash stores in the swanky New York area, according to the paper.
Southampton Village Mayor Mark Epley confirmed the tumult to the Post, saying, “We have had some reaction from some residents … the village is fairly quiet, and I think there is some concern.”

Epley added that famous or not, the sisters “would have to follow all the guidelines” of the area, and local officials “can control the day, time and place.
“The issue for us has always been safety and quality of life.”
