Paul Walker’s Sister On Brothers Joining 'Fast & Furious' Film: ‘They Want To Honor Him And Do The Very Best They Can’

Paul Walker’s brothers, Caleb and Cody, are “excited” to be filling in for their late sibling on the Fast & Furious 7 set, his sister, Ashlie, tells RadarOnline.com.
Last week, producers announced that restaurant owner Caleb, 36, and paramedic Cody, 25, would join the franchise’s cast on behalf of the actor, who filmed the majority of his scenes before his tragic passing at just 40 in November.
“They’re excited to be in Dubai, they’ve never been there before,” says Ashlie, 37, of her siblings, who will also film in Atlanta next week. “And the cast has treated them so well.”
However, diving into their brother’s world has also been a big challenge, emotionally and logistically.
“They have mixed feelings,” Ashlie explains. “It’s emotional. And it’s been hard to step into Paul’s shoes and make a huge career move. They’ve been working with coaches on their scripts. They want to honor him and do the very best they can.”
However, the gig won’t lead the men to Hollywood, she adds. “They’re not actors. This is temporary,” she insists. “They just want to help complete the film because so many people were so invested. Paul was invested. Both have things about them that are so similar to Paul, even the way they walk. It was a natural decision.”

Ashlie and the entire Walker family, including the late star’s 15-year-old daughter, Meadow, will watch the finished product—but expect to be in a lot of pain seeing Paul onscreen.
“It’s going to be difficult to watch Fast & Furious 7,” Ashlie admits. “Even now, I’ll be watching TV and the trailer comes on for this month’s drama Brick Mansions, and I’ll hear his voice and my heart stops. It brings up so much sadness. There will be crying and excitement.”
Fast & Furious 7, also starring Walker’s longtime pals Dwayne Johnson, Tyrese Gibson and Vin Diesel, hits theaters on April 15, 2015.
