Duggar’s Strict Dating Rules: Michelle And Jim Bob Are On Every ‘Courting’ Date, Even Online Chats

Michelle and Jim Bob Duggar have very strict rules about their children’s dating rituals and the first one is they chaperone every time there is a “date,” even if it is just on Skype.
In this sneak peek of 19 Kids and Counting obtained by RadarOnline.com, the conservative Christian parents watch as daughter Jill Duggar, 22, chat online with Derick Dillard, the man her father introduced her to that she is now “courting.”
“I guess we’ll be in on your conversation,” Michelle, 47, sweetly tells her daughter as she and Jim Bob, 48, settle in on the sofa for the online chat session.

“Derick Dillard is a very special friend of mine,” Jill explains about her new beau, but admits that since he is living and working in Nepal they have never met in person.
As the family and Derick pray together Jill explains her dad’s friendship with her boyfriend.
“Bromance for my dad and Derick has kind of been what their relationship has been like,” and she says her dad playing matchmaker is “really cool.”
Dad Jim Bob is proud of his match too, explaining that he always tries to look out for his daughters.
“As I’ve seen good quality guys have come along and I’ve pointed them out to my girls and sometimes my girls haven’t been interested but lately they have been.”
19 Kids and Counting returns to TLC Tuesday, April 8 at 9/8c.
