Bill It To Bethenny! Frankel Commanded By Court To Shell Out $100K To Jason Hoppy’s Attorney In Child Custody Battle
Apr. 24 2014, Published 10:13 a.m. ET
Bethenny Frankel must pay out $100,000 in legal fees to the attorney representing her estranged husband Jason Hoppy in their divorce, after being ordered by the court to do so at once.
The large sum of money will eventually be deducted from the final settlement the former Real Housewives of New York reaches with the pharmaceutical executive, who she filed from after their Dec. 2012 split.
Frankel shouldn’t be too upset about the steep tab — she might be, in part, responsible for how long the case has hone on — as sources told us that the reality star (whose net worth Forbes estimates as $12 million) hasn’t been amenable to any sort of compromise in the contentious case.

“Jason would like to get the divorce and custody settled, once and for all,” an insider said, “but Bethenny is making it impossible.”
As we previously reported, a judge last week ordered the 43-year-old Skinnygirl mogul and Hoppy’s 3-year-old Bryn to undergo a psychiatric evaluation as part of the proceedings.
