Two men have been charged with manslaughter in connection with the deadly stabbing of a Pennsylvania father and husband in the Bahamas, RadarOnline.com has learned.

Carl Yerger, president of the Oley Valley Youth League, was in the country on business when he was found murdered outside his resort on the island of Bimini on March 14.

According to investigators, four American men were taken into custody and questioned. Two have been charged; the other two have been released pending further investigation.

Police are still trying to determine a motive and if the men knew Yerger.

"They were all captain and crew of a vessel that was in the marina right there at the hotel," Asst. Commissioner Emrick Seymour, Royal Bahamas Police Force told reporters.

Police also have not released an official motive, but believe it may have been a random act.

His death has come to a shock to his wife Rebecca Yerger and their two sons – Tate, 7, and 10-year-old Ty.

“He was a wonderful man. He will be missed,” his wife told the Philadelphia Inquirer.

Community members are also trying to come to grips with the tragic loss. They described Yerger as a true family man.

The Oley Valley Youth League board of directors posted their condolences on the league's website.

"Carl was also an outstanding coach. His players and the parents respected his coaching abilities and appreciated his down-to-earth no nonsense approach to teaching children to play baseball and basketball and to love the games. Carl not only coached his boys, but also could be found on the sideline of any given baseball, basketball, or soccer game enjoying watching the children learn to play sports and develop the types of skills and behaviors that he knew would enable them to one day improve our society.

"The Oley Valley Youth League sends our deepest condolences and prayers to his loving wife and family."

The investigation into his death remains ongoing.
