Woody Allen is lashing back at claims he sexually abused his and Mia Farrow's  adopted daughter, Dylan Farrow.

In an open letter in The New York Times -- the director puts the blame for the accusations squarely at the feet of ex-girlfriend, Mia, who he claims orchestrated the falsehood because she was so angry over their break-up.

That very public break-up occurred when Mia discovered Allen was having an affair with her adopted daughter, Soon-Yi Previn, 38 years his junior.  They later married and now have two adopted children of their own.

The accusations of abuse have since split the Farrow clan.  Son, Ronan sides with his mother, while Moses, is on his father's side.

In his response to Dylan's accusations, Allen writes:

"Of course, I did not molest Dylan. I loved her and hope one day she will grasp how she has been cheated out of having a loving father and exploited by a mother more interested in her own festering anger than her daughter’s well-being. Being taught to hate your father and made to believe he molested you has already taken a psychological toll on this lovely young woman, and Soon-Yi and I are both hoping that one day she will understand who has really made her a victim and reconnect with us, as Moses has, in a loving, productive way.

Allen's letter is also packed with accusations about Mia's own behavior. He points out when she began her affair with famed conductor/composer André Previn, who became her first husband, he was a married man.

Allen also brings up the recent revelations that Ronan Farrow -- the only biological child he and Mia had during their 12 years together -- may actually have been fathered by Frank Sinatra!

"Is he my son or, as Mia suggests, Frank Sinatra’s? Granted, he looks a lot like Frank with the blue eyes and facial features, but if so what does this say? That all during the custody hearing Mia lied under oath and falsely represented Ronan as our son? Even if he is not Frank’s, the possibility she raises that he could be, indicates she was secretly intimate with him during our years. Not to mention all the money I paid for child support. Was I supporting Frank’s son? Again, I want to call attention to the integrity and honesty of a person who conducts her life like that.," Allen writes.

This, Allen insists, is his last word on the subject.
