Paulina Rubio Stole My Husband! Angry Ex-Wife Of 'The X Factor' Star's New Boyfriend Speaks Out

As Paulina Rubio heads to The X Factor finals with her contestant, Carlito Olivero, she's stirring up scandal with another man she mentored South of the Border. Sandoval, Bazua's wife of ten years and mother of their sons Gerardo Jr., 9, and Sebastian, 2, says that rumors of his relationship with Rubio first arose when he was mentored by her on the show earlier this year, but he dismissed them as "jokes." Later, he told Sandoval he was going on a promotional trip for the show, but was spotted hanging with Rubio in Cancun. When he returned, she says, he denied anything was wrong. Before long, he dropped a bombshell.
In a tense phone call, Sandoval says, her husband "told me he wanted to separate, and I asked him, 'Are you already with someone else?' And he answered, 'Yes.' I asked him who and he responded, 'Paulina.'"
"It was very hard," she says. "I sat there crying on the phone and told him that I hadn't expected it to be her. Gerardo told me, 'Please forgive me.'"
That's something that Sandoval hasn't been able to do yet, as Bazua, 28, and Rubio, 42, flaunt their relationship across the globe. Just this Monday, Rubio was spotted flashing her bare buns as she hugged Bazua in front of Clafoutis in West Hollywood.
Rubio and Sandoval have yet to talk out their differences.
"I don't know Paulina," Sandoval says. "She wasn't my friend. She's nothing to me. The betrayal, to me, was on the part of Gerardo. He defrauded me."
Still, she says, Paulina should have known better. "Of course," she says. "She knew that Gerardo was married. She should have had respected that …"
"I was still being intimate with him when he told me he was cheating on me with her," Sandoval continues. "It humiliated and destroyed me.
She says, "If he hadn't met her, we would still be together. I blame her for all our problems."
Rubio, meanwhile, is dealing with some ex drama of her own. She's been battling her estranged husband, Nicolás Vallejo-Najera in divorce court for more than a year over custody of their son.
