Coroner Confirms Paul Walker's Death; 'Fast & Furious' Star Died Of 'Traumatic And Thermal Injuries'

The Los Angeles County Department of Medical Examiner-Coroner has formally identified the bodies of Paul Walker and Roger Rodas after the pair was killed in a fiery car crash on Saturday afternoon.

In a statement to RadarOnline.com, the coroner said the findings of the autopsy have established Walker, 40, died of "combined effects of traumatic and thermal injuries." It was concluded that he was the passenger of the Porsche motor vehicle.

Rodas, 38, died of "multiple traumatic injuries."

"Both deaths have been ruled by the Coroner to be accidents," the statement concluded.

Toxicology reports are still pending on both cases and are expected to be completed within six to weeks.

The bodies of Walker and Rodas are now expected to be released to funeral homes.
