Rush Limbaugh Causes Outrage Comparing Senate Filibuster Rule Change To Allowing Rape

Rush Limbaugh has done it again.
The controversial radio host used rape as an analogy for political reform, and thousands of women are outraged.
On Friday, Limbaugh made the bizarre comparison between reforming the Senate's filibuster rule, to allow a simple majority vote on most issues including Presidential appointments instead of the current 60 percent, to allowing rape.
Say what?
Yep, Limbaugh argued that with a room of 10 people, where four are women, if five of the men voted to make rape legal, it would carry the day.
Slate's Amanda Marcotte called the rape comparison "distasteful and casually misogynist."
Ana Marie Cox, political columnist for the Guardian US wrote that "Limbaugh using a rape analogy to explain the filibuster really takes mansplaining to a level I never imagined."
Democratic National Committee Chairwoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz tweeted, "Limbaugh, once again proving he's a disgrace."
Even the conservative site, Politico, reported on the "immediate and intense backlash to comments that were called 'offensive' and 'despicable'."
