Rushing It? Prince Charles' Wife Camilla Wears The Queen Mother's Tiara

The Duchess of Cornwall -- better known to us commoners as plain old Camilla, Princess Diana's  successor as the wife of Prince Charles  -- isn't yet the queen of England but she seems to have her eye on the job.

At a banquet held in Sri Lanka for all the leaders of British Commonwealth nations, Camilla topped off her formal ensemble with a very famous tiara.

It was famously worn by Britain's beloved Queen Mother.

The Greville tiara features a honeycomb-pattern design and was made in 1921 by Boucheron jewellers for British society hostes Margaret Greville. It was left to the Queen Mother in 1942, reports the Express newspaper.

Charles, who recently turned 65 making him the oldest-ever Brit monarch-in-waiting, sported a boatload of medals on his chest but nothing that screamed "I Want To Be King" as loudly as Camilla's headpiece spoke of her desire to move up the chain.
