The young girl who was arrested and charged with a felony for bullying Rebecca Sedwick until she committed suicide has been kicked out of school RadarOnline.com has exclusively learned.

Katelyn Roman, 12, was arrested with her friend Guadalupe Shaw, 14, for aggravated stalking after their classmate Sedwick jumped off a tower following excruciating bullying allegedly by the two girls and up to 15 other students.

“When you're accused of a felony you're automatically suspended from school for one year,” a source close to the situation confirmed to RadarOnline.com.

Sheriff Gary Judd said that the tragic situation surrounding Sedwick’s death stemmed not only from the bullying she allegedly received from the girls, but also from the “disturbing environment” in which she lived.

Casey Anthony’s famed-attorney Jose Baez has taken on Roman as a client but a source close to the situation told RadarOnline.com that the economically disadvantaged family is struggling with her education options now.

“There is no guarantee that after a year you are allowed back into the public school system and that is if you are acquitted of all charges even.”

As RadarOnline.com previously reported, Roman claimed in a shocking on-line video that she was “touched” by a member of her family but we are withholding the identity of the person she accuses.

According to the source, despite her troubles at home, Roman, now in 7th grade, has been an honor roll student for the last 2 years.

“Two or three years ago she had the 3rd highest FCAP score in Polk county with her state testing,” and said that she isn’t even able to maintain her studies electronically.

“Katelyn is not allowed to use a computer and she is not do any online schooling or tutoring. There is no money to provide for any type of private tutoring at this point.”
