Princess Diana Slammed By Royal Family Member, Declares She Was ‘Spiteful, Really Unkind’

Princess Diana was loved the world over but a member of the royal family has slammed her in a vicious new interview, saying the late Diana was “spiteful” when she was alive.
Lady Pamela Hicks, who was in Queen Elizabeth’s wedding and is a first cousin to Prince Philip, made the cutting remarks about Diana to Vanity Fair.
“She had enormous charisma, she was beautiful, she was very good at empathy with the general crowd . . . and she had no feeling at all for her husband or his family,” she told the magazine.
Lady Pamela, whose daughter, India Hicks, was a bridesmaid in Diana’s wedding, continued her scathing opinion of the way Prince Charles was treated by his first wife.
“She was really spiteful, really unkind to him — and, my God, he’s a man who needs support and encouragement. The marriage absolutely destroyed him. He looked grey and ghost-like. Now of course he’s blossomed again.”
Prince William and Harry’s mother often spoke about struggling as a teenager marrying into the royal family, despite her own family being titled aristocracy, but Lady Pamela dismissed her troubled times as a young bride.

She said Princess Diana “made everybody believe she’d been thrown to the wolves. Such nonsense! She was given the Queen’s favorite lady-in-waiting . . . to help her. But she didn’t want to be told anything. Instead, she wanted to listen to her music and go disco-ing or to some jive concert.”
