Cops are searching for a new mother who abandoned her baby in a hospital just hours after giving birth where they both tested positive for cocaine before she fled.

The young woman, who claimed she was 22 but allegedly used a fake name, gave birth to a little boy at the DCH Regional Medical Center in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, according to the Alabama Real-Time News.

Eight hours later she was caught on a surveillance camera leaving the hospital still wearing her gown and carrying her clothes in a bag but without her infant.

The report said  that juvenile investigators may possibly “charge the mother with chemical endangerment of exposing a child to an environment in which controlled substances are produced or distributed.”

Cops say she has a large tattoo in the middle of her chest and that she left the hospital with two males.
