Brody Jenner Insists His Dad And Kris 'Haven't Split Up,' But Confesses He 'Didn't Trust' His Step-Mom's 'Intentions'

Brody Jenner says rumors of his father's break-up with wife Kris Jenner are not valid, in a new interview where he dishes about his stormy relationship with the Momager.

"My relationship with Kris is getting better now, but for a long time growing up I didn't see her that much and didn't trust her intentions," he told the U.K.'s Now magazine. "We didn't have the best relationship -- not just with her, with my father Bruce, too.

As for the murmurs of tension in his father Bruce's marriage, Brody chalked it up to "just rumors.

"I stay out of their business, but as far as I'm concerned, they haven't split up," The Hills star said. "Dad's been in Malibu -- he grew up out here -- and the press has made a big deal of it.

The 30-year-old hunk said that Bruce's summer stint at their Malibu home was just to give him a bit of space, while Kris helped new parents Kim Kardashian and Kanye West at Calabasas, Calif. home.

"It's nothing to do with them breaking up," he said.

Brody, who was prominently featured on this past season of Keeping Up with the Kardashians -- many times in an adversarial context with his stepmother -- said appearing on the show has made him closer with Bruce, and even Kris.

"Well, we've hashed out some stuff and our relationship has definitely got a bit better."
