It was a tale of two Jenner parties Saturday night.

Kylie celebrated turning 16 with an over-the-top bash including a surprise appearance by Drake while her brother, Brody , who is turning 30 on Wednesday, looked sullen as he stood on an empty red carpet at Hyde nightclub in the Bellagio Las Vegas.

Brody is the son of Bruce Jenner and his second wife, Linda Thompson, and there's been no love lost between him and his stepmother, Kris Jenner, on Keeping Up with the Kardashians.

Kylie's celebration was an Alice in Wonderland-themed party filmed for her family's reality show.  It was staged at the AT&T Center in downtown Los Angeles with 200 guests.

Khloe Kardashian was there, minus estranged husband Lamar Odom, and Kourtney Kardashian and her baby daddy Scott Disick appeared to be having a blast.  So did the birthday girl's sister, Kendall Jenner.

New mom Kim Kardashian stayed home with baby North but did send a Happy Birthday video that was played during the party, reports E! News.

Famous siblings Jayden  and Willow Smith arrived together.

Two hundred and seventy miles away in Sin City, it was a totally different birthday "celebration" for Brody.

Wearing a Pabst Blue Ribbon T-shirt, jeans and sneakers, he stood alone of the Hyde red carpet, appearing almost miserable to be there.

Even his own full brother, Brandon Jenner skipped Brady's event.  He was at Kylie's party in L.A.

As RadarOnline.com previously reported, Kris famously didn't invite Brody on the family's big vacation to Greece and only when Bruce insisted he be included did it happen.
