Amanda Bynes’ Psych Ward Stay Expected To Last Two Months – At Least

Amanda Bynes is expected to remain at the renowned UCLA psychiatric facility for the next two months after her mother Lynn moved the troubled actress from a hospital in Ventura County, Cali., on Friday morning, RadarOnline.com has learned.
The 27-year-old is under the temporary conservatorship of her mother.
“Amanda needed specialized medical attention that she wasn't getting at the hospital in Ventura County,” a source close to the situation said.
“Her parents were extremely grateful to the doctors that treated Amanda at the county hospital and the medical team signed off on the transfer to UCLA.
“It's expected that Amanda will remain at UCLA for the next two months because she has a very complex mental health issues that need to be dealt with. It will also take a significant chunk of time to get Amanda therapeutic on several prescriptions for her condition -- and to make sure it's working properly.”
RadarOnline.com was first to report the move: A source revealed earlier this week that Lynn believed she would get better care elsewhere.
Indeed, the UCLA Medical Center is touted as one of the best mental health facilities in the United States.
The conersvatorship permits Lynn to control decisions involving the health and finances of her daughter; It will be in effect until September 30, at which time a judge will determine if it needs to be made permanent.
