O.J. Simpson was granted parole on Wednesday for some of the charges stemming from a 2007 run-in with memorabilia dealers in Las Vegas. But that case, of course, is not what Simpson is most known for.

And now Kim Goldman, the sister of Ron Goldman, who was murdered along with Simpson's ex-wife Nicole Brown Simpson in 1994, is speaking out to say this latest news is "unsettling," to say the least.

“This is not our personal case against Simpson," she tells RadarOnline.com, "but since he’s been incarcerated there has been a reprieve and calm for us."

She continues, "The possibility of parole has always been present and while we respect our legal process, we now feel a sense of vulnerability with the idea of Simpson being out of jail in the next few years."

Now a victim rights advocate, Kim says: "Our family empathizes with victims who confront the painstaking process of awaiting parole hearings, being re-victimized and living with the realization that the perpetrator of the crime against them may be released back into society. It is unsettling for our family to know that the person we believe responsible for Ron and Nicole’s murder could soon have his freedom."

Despite his reprieve, O.J. will have to stay behind bars for at least another 18 months, serving time for his conviction on four deadly weapons enhancements.

His next court date is October 2.
