'Miserable' Miley Cyrus Admits To Late-Night Drug Use In Leaked Text To Friend, Misses Early-Morning Interview

Miley Cyrus has joked that her handlers took the title of her latest single, We Can't Stop, literally, sending her on a whirlwind summer promotional tour across the United States and Europe. But now, it seems, her late nights and long flights are starting to take a toll.
Miley admitted to turning to drugs for comfort in a newly leaked text to a friend, and then had to reschedule an early morning interview when she wasn't well enough to get out of bed.
"I'm miserable," Miley wrote in a text to someone named "FEFE" on July 23 at 11:37 pm. A little past midnight, she continued, "Been crying myself to sleep. Taking a zany trying to pass out. Goodnight." (Zanny is a common street term for Xanax, a highly addictive "benzo" used to treat anxiety.) She posted the tweet inadvertently at 12:22 am.
Miley quickly deleted the tweet and posted a message about being hacked. Then she deleted that tweet and wrote, "Never mind. Realized I'm just an idiot & somehow I butt tweeted my conversation. Missing home"
All of her late nights seem to be taking a toll on her health. On Thursday, she was supposed to visit the offices of Berlin's BILD newspaper early in the morning, but had her people send a text at 9:30 am saying she wasn't up to it. Two hours later, she changed her mind and offered to host the reporters in her hotel room at noon.
"I apologize in advance to any reporters I may puke on or get sick," she tweeted. "#norestforthewicked"

Miley claimed she had food poisoning from some bad sushi, but didn't look sick at all, according to Bild. Even more strangely, she refused to shake the reporters' hands, telling the, "I can't shake your hand, so you don't get sick." Food poisoning is rarely transmitted by skin-to-skin contact.
"It would have been better to start with typical German food," she told the reporters. "But the first thing I wanted was sushi and I guess I ended up at the wrong place." Miley was not pictured at any local sushi spots, nor were there any sightings on Twitter.
Fishy? Miley did admit that her strenuous promotional schedule was wearing on her health.
"Recently I've been working so much," she said. "Now, I've been traveling for the past two weeks. I flew from L.A. to New York, then to Miami, back to L.A., then to Canada (for a reunion with her fiancé, Liam Hemsworth), then to L.A., then to New York, then to London, then here -- and somewhere in between I went to the Bahamas too. I forgot that. My life is totally crazy!"
Miley's sober pal Demi Lovato has warned her about her drug use and partying, as RadarOnline.com has reported.
“She knows how I feel about the whole partying thing…” Demi told MTV News. “And I’m always like, ‘Just be careful.’ And she’s like, ‘Dude, I’m chilling. It’s fine.’”
