Cory Monteith Planned Surprise For Lea Michele's Birthday: Report

The late Cory Monteith had a romantic surprise planned to celebrate girlfriend Lea Michele's 27th birthday next month, RadarOnline.com has learned.
"She didn't know what, but she thought it could be a party and possibly a trip somewhere," an insider told Us Weekly of the actor's plans to celebrate his love's Aug. 29th birthday.
It's another tragic tidbit in the Glee star's premature death, as the magazine reported Lea had called Cory "the one" to a confidante, as things were on the upswing after his stint in rehab this past spring.

"They were 100 percent happy and together and in love at the time of his death," the source told the magazine. "They never broke up."
Cory, who played the role of Finn Hudson on the Fox hit, was found dead at 31 July 13 in a room at Vancouver, British Columbia'sFairmont Pacific Rim Hotel. The British Columbia coroner's office subsequently confirmed the embattled actor's life ended as result of a toxic mix of heroin and alcohol.
