As news spreads of Cory Monteith's death of an overdose from heroin and alcohol, we've got updates on his Glee co-stars Lea Michele and Darren Criss, who continue to grieve in the wake of the tragic loss.

Michele, who was Monteith's girlfriend, has remained close to the late actor's family in their darkest hour.

"Lea is deeply grateful for all the love and support she’s received from family, friends, and fans," her rep said in a statement to People Tuesday. "Since Cory’s passing, Lea has been grieving alongside his family and making appropriate arrangements with them.

"They are supporting each other as they endure this profound loss together. We continue to ask the media to respect the privacy of Lea and Cory’s family.”

On Tuesday night, co-star Darren Criss wore a black ribbon of the New York premiere of his film Girl Most Likely, and didn't speak with media following the screening at New York's Landmark Sunshine, the NY Post reported.

As we previously reported, Monteith, who played the role of Finn Hudson on the Fox hit, was found dead at 31 Saturday in a Vancouver, British Columbia, hotel room.

The British Columbia coroner's office said Tuesday confirmed the embattled actor's life ended as result of a toxic mix of of heroin and alcohol, adding that no foul play is suspected in his premature passing.

"Our belief is that when he took the heroin he was alone -- there was evidence in the room that was consistent with a drug overdose," Vancouver Police Department spokesman Brian Montague said.
