An arrest warrant has been issued for Beth Chapman, wife of Duane “The Bounty Hunter” Chapman, after SHE nearly was run over by a teenager and then cursed by another teen, RadarOnline.com is reporting exclusively.

“It’s outrageous that police resources would be wasted on such a ridiculous incident,” Beth told RadarOnline.com exclusively of the incident that happened in a Colorado park on July 10. Beth and Dog star in CMT's show Beth & Dog On The Hunt.

What’s more, one person involved had a gun that was plainly visible to Beth, while her children were in the immediate area.

“This guy came over to me while I was out of my car and started saying, ‘We’re big fans and we want autographs and photos,’” Beth told RadarOnline.com. “I wanted him to get away because as he was talking to me he had one hand on his firearm. I called Duane because the guy had a gun. (See the photo of the gun at the bottom of this post)

“Duane was down at the lake fishing. He came up and told them to get out of here. We then called the cops on the guy with the gun, gathered our stuff and split. We aren’t going to have our kids someplace where there are firearms.”

Dog and Beth were with their son Gary 12, daughter Bonnie 14, grandson Travis, 11, daughter Cecily 20 and other family members.

It all happened at Monument Lake in Monument, Col. Cops have issued a warrant for misdemeanor harassment after a teen girl complained that Beth spoke rudely to her!

“My husband and I were there with our family, including very young children, when a young woman in a car with a male driver came speeding dangerously close to where I was walking my dog and to where my children were standing,” Beth told RadarOnline.com.

“The passenger emerged from the vehicle -- she was young and dressed inappropriately, drinking beer ... and obviously out for a good time. I told her and the driver, 'You need to slow down or I will call the cops.’

“She began to laugh and smirk and then told me, ‘These cops won't do anything!’ I told her if they didn't slow down, I’d call anyway.”

Beth was shaken up after nearly being hit by the speeding car driven by an adolescent. She says the driver and the girl who filed the complaint both were holding beer cans.

“I didn’t like the way they recklessly drove their automobile with young children nearby who could have been seriously injured. I didn’t like the way she was scantily dressed flaunting her almost naked appearance in the presence of my young kids,” says Beth, who adds she suspected the female was under the influence and told her to go away.

“She was rude and I was harsh, and that’s the extent of it,” Beth told RadarOnline.com.

“After the girl left the scene, two men -- apparently her friends -- approached us asking for pictures and autographs, all while their hands were resting atop some type of firearms. I told them they needed to leave the location my children, my car and I were occupying, and I inquired whether they had a concealed carry license for the firearms."

Dog also asked them to leave. They finally returned to their car and Beth called the police asking about the concealed weapons carrying law and how it pertained to public areas and parks with children present. Dog and Beth then left.

Cops eventually arrived, spoke to the teen girl and amazingly issued an arrest warrant against Beth. Cops even admit it’s the equivalent of a traffic ticket, but say they can’t reach Beth.

(A police spokesperson also said “no one would be even remotely interested in this if it wasn’t a celebrity.")

As for the teen girl, Beth says: “The only thing this girl got was a tongue lashing that her mother should have given her before she left the house that day in her Daisy Dukes with her butt cheeks hanging out. Embarrassed? Possibly. But harassed? NOT.”
