Amanda Bynes' concerned parents, Rick and Lynn, haven't spoken with their daughter since she was hospitalized on an involuntary psychiatric hold in Los Angeles but are now considering getting a conservatorship over her, RadarOnline.com has learned.

On Monday night, Bynes lit a small fire in the driveway of a home in Thousand Oaks, Calif.

Law enforcement decided the ex-Nickelodeon star was a danger to herself and others and she was taken to the hospital and placed on a 5150. Bynes could remain on the psychiatric hold for up to 72 hours.

"Her parents are absolutely sick with worry about their daughter," a source told Radar.

"They are now considering going to a judge and attempting to get a conservatorship of Amanda. They have previously met with lawyers to discuss the possibility of taking legal control of Amanda's life. It's a truly devastating situation for Amanda's parents and their biggest concern is the health and safety of her."

The source added that time was of the essence for Bynes' parents.

"She could be released whenever doctors determine she is no longer a danger to herself, or others," the insider said.

"If Rick and Lynn are going to seek a conservatorship, they need to act very, very quickly."
