Real Housewives of Orange County star Vicki Gunvalson's trip to Las Vegas did not go as planned on Tuesday -- she was served with legal notice from somebody who she clearly knows quite well!

In an odd chain of events, the 51-year-old was at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino -- you can watch the video below -- when she was approached by an unknown man who was clutching a bunch of paperwork.

A smiling Vicki thrust open her arms and hugged the individual before touching him on the cheek.

Then, when she least expected it, the server handed over the documents -- and the shock on the Bravo reality star's face was immediately visible.

She looked down at the documents before introducing the man to another individual who was holding her Louis Vuitton handbag.

Soon after, Vicki -- clearly upset -- was then picked up from the casino's motor court by an Escalade.

Before entreating the limo, Vicki's bagman comforted her with a shoulder rub and she appeared to wipe away tears. Interestingly, the server was still with her every step of the way!

There's no word on what the subject of the papers was.

However as RadarOnline.com first reported, we know a lawsuit was filed against Vicki and her on-again, off-again boyfriend Brooks Ayers in Sin City in early June alleging the pair committed fraud, breached contract, misrepresented themselves and conspired to unjustly enrich themselves, in a business to produce vodka.

Ex-business partner Robert Williamson III claimed Vicki gifted 16.67 percent of a business, named Vicki's Vodka, which was started in 2012, to Brooks -- without his knowledge.

Brooks then sold it to Robert in an act of fraud, it's alleged.

"He claimed to need the money for unpaid IRS and child support obligations in order to prevent his imminently going to jail for non-payment," the lawsuit, obtained by Radar, said.

Of the court action, Vicki has promised to "reveal my side of the story and the lack of truth that was told."
