When you're worth $67 billion, $8.7 million is a drop in the ocean. Case in point: Microsoft founder Bill Gates, who just splashed out .01 percent of the total value of his assets on a new four acre estate in Wellington, Fla.

Property records show the house was snapped up recently by a secretive trust ‹ the Mallet Hill Trust ‹ which is connected to Gates, 57.

Not convinced? A neighbor has also let the cat out of the bag, saying it's common knowledge around those traps that the home was snapped up by Gates and his wife Melinda and the homeowners association was even approached to "replace the enclave's unmanned gate to a gate guarded by a worker 24/7," Gossip Extra reported.

Not so secret, this RadarOnline.com photo tour of Gates' new 7,230-square-foot house that's complete with four bedrooms and bathrooms.

It reveals the property has stone tile floors throughout, a living room with fireplace and French doors, an outdoor recreation and lounge area that overlooks a 32-foot long swimming pool and a built-in barbecue station on the patio.

Equestrian facilities include several fields, pastures and pens plus a newly constructed 20 stall barn.
