Kim Kardashian and Kanye West have settled on a name -- and the pair went in a different direction than everyone had thought!
Shunning the 'K' tradition for the Kardashian-Jenner clan, the E! reality star and the rapper -- who welcomed their first child last Saturday -- have named the little girl North West, multiple reports have confirmed.
The other option had reportedly been Kaidence Donda, in honour of Kanye's late mother.
A source told PEOPLE the couple ultimately decided to go with a directional name, while another report cited a leaked birth certificate from inside the Cedars-Sinai hospital in Los Angeles, where Kim gave birth.
The Kardashians have yet to formally confirm North West and have not responded to requests for comment.
However, a source told US Magazine that the latest addition to the famed television family already has a nickname.

"They will call her Nori for short," an insider said.
This was not the first time we'd heard about North being an option, however: In a March interview, 32-year-old Kardashian denied rumors that her boyfriend, 36, had wanted to name their child North.
"I do like Easton, Easton West," she said on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno.
