Troubled ex-child star Amanda Bynes has thanked people for “lying” about her and making her famous in the wake of her May 23 arrest.
“The DA and my lawyer talked today,” she tweeted on Monday afternoon.
“They have no proof of drugs on me or around me at anytime during the arrest of after. All I’m becoming is more famous! Thanks for lying about me!”
As RadarOnline.com previously reported, Bynes, 27, was booked for criminal possession of marijuana, as well as reckless endangerment and tampering with physical evidence.
Police allege the ex-Nickelodeon star threw a bong out the window of her apartment when they arrived at the scene.
In court the next day, the headline grabbing actress said police “improperly arrested” her for throwing a bong out the window, because she said, it was actually a vase!
Bynes was released her on her own recognizance and is due back in court on July 9.
