Couples Therapy Casualty? Shayne Lamas Hospitalized, Marital Stress Over Nik Richie's Non Stop Partying
Someone call the esteemed Dr. Jenn Berman - looks like yet another Couples Therapy marriage is about to go down the drain!
This time it's controversial TheDirty.com owner Nik Richie and actress wife Shayne Lamas whose relationship is on the line — and things have gotten so bad between the two that the blonde beauty was hospitalized Tuesday for "marital stress," RadarOnline.com is exclusively reporting.
The trouble between the couple comes as their third wedding anniversary approaches. They married April 18, 2010 in Las Vegas after knowing each other for a whopping eight hours! Despite everyone believing they would divorce within weeks, Shayne gave birth to their first child together, daughter, Press, in November 2011.
Fast forward to 2013, and what's the root of their issues? Well, surprise surprise - Nik Richie being a jerk and partying non-stop, while Shayne is stuck at home looking after Press!
"2013 has pretty much been non-stop drunken and debauched revelry for Nik, and Shayne is just falling apart left on her own," a source close to the blonde beauty tells Radar.
"People think that because they married so quickly that it isn't a real relationship, but it is – or at least it is to Shayne.
"They have a child together, she's a mom, that's so important to her… and she's tried to be a wife to Nik too, but he's such a selfish pr*ck that it's pretty much impossible.

"Nik has this excuse that he has to be out there at the clubs partying, that it's essential to his career and it's the way he earns money to support Shayne and Press, but it's like non-stop.
"Shayne can have a jealous streak, like a lot of women, but Nik really does nothing to quell it - in fact he loves all the attention from women that he gets… it feeds his massive ego and makes him feel on top of the world. He's always been cocky and big headed but that's just gotten worse since Couples Therapy, now he thinks he's the total sh*t.
"Poor Shayne is home with the baby while Nik is out partying like he's a 21-year-old bachelor on Spring Break…. He's not though! He's a married guy with a baby and if he doesn't get his act together soon and start paying attention to Shayne and start putting some work, energy and effort into his marriage, he won't have one anymore.
"Shayne has been beside herself the past few weeks, she's feeling overwhelmed, she has no idea what Nik is up to half the time, and feels neglected and abandoned. It's become so bad that she literally broke down emotionally on Tuesday and had to be rushed to the ER.
"That's got to stop. She truly loves him, no doubt, but a woman can only take so much, and if Nik does really love her — as he claims — he better get his act together STAT — or his next TV appearance could well be on Divorce Court."
