Jennifer Capriati isn't taking the allegations that she hit and stalked her ex-boyfriend lying down.

Ivan Brannan's version of events is an "over exaggeration" of what happened between him and the former tennis great, her rep tells RadarOnline.com.

As RadarOnline.com previously reported, Brannan claims that on Valentine's Day, Capriati attacked him at Oxygen Health & Fitness in North Palm Beach, Florida.  A yoga instructor told cops that while gym staffers intervened, Brannan ran inside the men's locker room and called 911.

According to the report, Capriati fled the scene before the police arrived but they tracked her down and questioned her. She was not taken into custody, and it is now up to the Palm Beach County State Attorney as to whether an arrest warrant should be issued.

"The current facts being circulated by Mr. Brannan are an over exaggeration and the police report is one-sided in Mr. Brannan's favor since they failed to get Ms. Capriati's side of the story," her rep says.  "We will make sure that Ms. Capriati's side of the story is fully conveyed and when the truth comes out she will be vindicated from these charges."

Capriati, who turns 37 later this month, was once at the top of the tennis world.  She turned pro at just 13 years-old, holds an Olympic gold medal, and among her titles are the Australian and French Open.  She was inducted into the International Tennis Hall of Fame last July.

Four months after receiving that honor, Brannan unsuccessfully sought a restraining order against her, claiming Capriati called his office more than 100 times in a single day.
