Kate Gosselin, one of America’s favorite reality show stars, is celebrating her 37th birthday on Wednesday. Like a fine bottle of wine, the coupon-clipping single mother seems to be getting sexier with age, and has totally transformed her look over the years. Born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on March 28, 1975, Kate pursed a career as a Registered Nurse before appearing with her husband Jon Gosselin on Discovery Health special Surviving Sextuplets and Twins and Surviving Sextuplets and Twins: One Year Later. After the success of the special, the couple scored their own series on the same channel called Jon & Kate Plus 8, which moved to TLC after two seasons.
Fans were shocked when Kate and Jon announced that they were separating in 2009, and reports of Jon cheating on Kate with Hailey Glassman, the daughter of the doctor who performed Kate’s post-baby tummy tuck, surfaced shortly after.
Kate slowly started to reinvent herself, changing up her hair and trimming down her figure, and many speculated that she had again gone under the knife.
The show continued without Jon, and was renamed Kate Plus 8.
Kate later went on to appear on season 10 of Dancing with the Stars, where she was paired with pro Tony Dovolani and was eliminated after five weeks.
After Kate Plus 8 was canceled in September 2011, Kate went on to score a gig blogging for CouponCabin.
