Whitney Houston's daughter Bobbi Kristina Brown has publicly distanced herself from grandmother Cissy's new book, Remembering Whitney, calling it "disrespectful," and saying she won't be reading it.

She tweeted on Sunday, "Anything concerning my grandmother's book, I and boyfriend @nickgordon of course personally have nothing to do with ... I haven't read it and won't ... I find it to be disrespectful to my mother and me being her daughter won't tolerate it."

As we previously reported, Cissy opens up in the book about her heartache watching her late daughter's drug addiction, writing, "She started partying and she didn't really know how to stop.

"I want people to know the truth about her, how she really was."

The Run To You singer was slated to attend a pre-Grammy Awards bash held by producer Clive Davis on February 11, 2012, the day she was found dead at age 48 in her room at the Beverly Hilton. Officials later pronounced the cause of death as drowning, adding the singer had traces of cocaine in her system.
