Lady Gaga Gun Bra Triggers Controversy

Amidst the raging debate over assault weapons in the U.S. in wake of the Sandy Hook massacre, Lady Gaga inexplicably came out with guns blazing -- almost literally -- during a concert in Canada this weekend.
The Born This Way singer -- whose real name is Stefani Germanotta -- strolled on stage in Vancouver wearing a plastic gun protruding from her bra, in what could best be described as another homage to the Material Girl, who’s also triggered controversy by incorporating firearms into her act.
Gaga, 26, wore the gun bra on Friday, just a day after Vice President Joe Biden met with Congress and the NRA over stemming gun violence after the shooting in Newtown, Conn., which left several adults and 20 children dead.
Not surprisingly, Gaga -- who’s known for her outrageous outfits, as much as her singing -- is catching flack for her latest cringe-worthy costume.
“I suppose when you haven’t enough talent to keep people’s attention, you get a gun bra,” ReggieP wrote on Twitter.

It’s been a tough few days for the Paparazzi singer. Last week, she was slammed by Sharon Osbourne, who called her a “bully” and a “hypocrite” after Gaga criticized Sharon’s daughter Kelly after she speculated the singer was pregnant due to her weight gain.
