Glen Campbell Sells Malibu Mansion For $4.45 Million, Take A Peek Inside

Glen Campbell, who performed in what was called his final concert tour last year after being stricken with Alzheimer's disease, has sold his Malibu mansion for $4.45 million, a painful $1.5 million less than the original asking price.

According to the L.A.Times, the 76-year-old country legend who made the songsRhinestone Cowboy and Southern Nightsfamous, bought the property in 2005 for $3.425 million.

Built in 2004 and remodeled in 2009, the Mediterranean-style house in a gated Malibu community boasts a theater with a billiard room, living and family rooms, a den, four fireplaces, four bedrooms, 5.5 bathrooms, and 6,540 square feet of living space.  It sits on less than an acre with palm and olive trees and a swimming pool and features views of the Santa Monica Bay and Catalina Island.

The star, who told the public two years ago that he suffers from Alzheimer's disease, listed the house for $5,950,000 in 2011.

Campbell, whose fourth wife Kim helps him cope with his illness, had a hit song called By the Time I Get to Phoenix and also owns a home in Phoenix, Arizona.
