Bethenny Frankel isn't taking her divorce from Jason Hoppy lightly — she's hired Katie Holmes' cutthroat divorce attorney Allan E. Mayefsky, RadarOnline.com is reporting.

Mayefsky has been described as nasty, ruthless and tough in the past and he's notably the attorney that got Katie's divorce with Tom Cruise settled in less than a month.

As RadarOnline.com previously reported, both the former reality star and the pharmaceutical sales executive have filed for primary custody of their 2-year-old daughter, Bryn, and it seems neither is willing to back down on the matter without an epic fight.

And because Katie, 34, won primary custody of Suri thanks to Mayefsky, Bethenny has just upped her chances of winning the same with her daughter — but it won't be easy.

“Jason will absolutely not allow Bethenny to make him a part time dad on her terms,” a source close to the situation told RadarOnline.com.

“Jason will fight tooth and nail to have an active and meaningful presence in Bryn’s life.”
