We had everything from reality TV stars going to prison, to one legendary wrestler appearing in an off-putting sex tape… and another failed Bachelorette couple!

In February, CBS’s The Amazing Race was dragged into controversy when Jeff Rice, one of the show’s producers was found dead on a hotel balcony in Uganda. According to Ugandan police spokesperson Asuman Mugenyi. the death was a result of using ‘bad’ cocaine that had lethal additives added to it. His assistant, Kathryne Fuller had also taken the lethal drug and had to fight for her life in hospital. Despite winning that battle, she is now confined to a wheelchair having been paralyzed on her right side.
Amber Portwood was a bad girl this year… When the 22-year-old Teen Mom star chose to give up a court-ordered drug rehabilitation program, which she was initially offered to avoid serving time following December 2011 drug arrest, she was sentenced to a 5-year jail term.
Many reality shows are coy when it comes to accusations that scenes are fake. But on June 19 in Miami Beach, the cast and crew of South Beach Tow, which lists Jennifer Lopez as an executive producer, staged a phony fight scene! And RadarOnline.com had eyewitness video to prove it!

There had been rumblings about it in the past, but in 2012 the world finally saw Hulk Hogan’s sex tape. The burly wrestling legend’s intimate moment with Heather Clem was captured in grainy footage and leaked to Gawker. What was funny was that it was an organized sexual liaison set up by his pal Bubba the Love Sponge. And did we mention the comical moment when he complains that he ate too much after their intimate moment???
And true love wasn’t to be found on The Bachelorette this year either. Emily Maynard and Jef Holm ended their engagement after reports that she cheated on him with hunky Oakland Raiders quarterback Matt Leinart. Even Jeff’s brother Mike confirmed that Emily had done the dirty on poor Jeff.
