Brooke Mueller has entered rehab for the 19th time as fears grow among her close friends and family that the troubled ex-wife of Charlie Sheen is going to die from a drug overdose if she doesn't conquer her demons once and for all, RadarOnline.com is exclusively reporting.

"Brooke's friends and family fear that she is going to die if she doesn't manage to get a grip on her addiction and stop taking drugs," a family insider tells RadarOnline.com exclusively. "Her hospitalization last week was the result of an overdose and she has battled an addiction to drugs for most of her adult life. It's a good sign that Brooke decided to go back to rehab again but her family is very concerned for the future as she has proved time and time again that she is unable to stay sober for longer than three months. Brooke is an addict and sadly, the disease is winning right now."

As RadarOnline.com previously reported, Mueller was rushed to the hospital Friday from her California home, suffering from a suspected drug overdose.

The mother of Sheen's twin boys, Bob and Max, was transported by emergency services from her home in the Los Angeles suburb of Tarzana to a nearby hospital at 11:42 a.m., according to the L.A. City Fire Department.

Just like her former husband, Brooke has a history of addiction issues. She pleaded guilty in May to cocaine possession in Aspen, Colorado, after which a close source claimed she was "actively working on her sobriety and recovery everyday and is committed to living a clean life."
